STARKVILLE – Students from Partnership Middle School and Armstrong Junior High are set to take the stage Monday, joining the Starkville Community Chorus for a concert presented by the Starkville-MSU Symphony Orchestra.
Treble choirs from the schools will perform for the concert, which will feature John Rutter’s “Mass of the Children.” Each choir will also present selections of their own to round out the program, “making a lovely evening of beautiful choral music to be enjoyed by all,” the Starkville Symphony website reads.
The program is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. Students have been working in class with Sara Horan and Peter Infanger, conductor for the Community Chorus, to prepare for the concert.
Tickets are on sale at starkvillesymphony.org. General admission tickets cost $25, while tickets for those younger than 17 cost $10.
