As commented by the Foreign Ministry, agreements on the establishment of diplomatic missions in the DPRK and Myanmar were reached during the talks between President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko and the leaders of these countries. “The opening of two new embassies is the result of Belarus’ targeted policy to strengthen its presence in countries in the far arc,” the source added.
The work of Belarus’ diplomatic missions will be aimed at further developing mutually beneficial relations with the DPRK and Myanmar.
