Syrian civilian detained by Israeli army released

Israeli troops have released on Tuesday a civilian detained during an incursion into Syria’s Quneitra governorate a day earlier, according to state media. 

On Monday, Israeli forces alongside several military vehciles entered the area and set up a temporary military checkpoint at al-Alam roundabout.

Several civilians passing through were searched and one was arrested. Such incidents have increased in recent times, with local media reporting of more searches, incursions and arrests.
