North Mississippi Out of Darkness Walk set for Saturday at Ballard Park

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — Community members will gather at Ballard Park in Tupelo on Saturday, Oct. 24, for the 2026 North Mississippi Out of Darkness Community Walk.

The event hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention aims to bring people together to raise awareness, remember loved ones lost to suicide and offer support to those affected.

The walk is an opportunity for families, friends and community members to show that no one has to face mental health struggles alone.

The event will take place at 9:00 a.m. at Ballard Park in Tupelo.
