PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - A Pickens County man is in jail on a half-million-dollar bond after court records claimed he fired a gun toward a man and an 8-year-old child, then assaulted a woman.
New complaints in Pickens County District Court charge Tanner Jackson Cleaver with:
- Reckless attempted murder
- Reckless endangerment of multiple individuals with a weapon
- Domestic violence by strangulation
- Interfering with a domestic violence emergency call

Investigators said Cleaver shot toward the man and a vehicle where the child had just been placed, and strangled a woman, then took her phone so she couldn’t call 911.
No court date or attorney information was immediately available.
