Eight Days of Hopes preps for hurricane recovery
TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — Local disaster relief ministry Eight Days of Hope (EDOH) is preparing to help with Hurricane Isaias recovery.
The storm is a Category 2 hurricane as of Thursday afternoon
It’s expected to make landfall late Friday or early Saturday along the Alabama and Florida coast and move northwest into Alabama and northeast Mississippi.
“Thousands of meals are ready, trailers are loaded, and our team is standing by,” EDOH Founder & President Steve Tybor said. “When Hurricane Isaias makes landfall, we want to be ready to go wherever the need is greatest. This is what we were made for— to show up for our neighbors, serve those who are hurting, and bring hope when they need it most.”
