Man arrested after drive-by shooting

CARROLLTON, Miss. (WTVA) — A drive-by shooting in Carroll County landed a 27-year-old man behind bars.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as Tyler Lester of Coila.

The shooting happened Saturday morning at a home on Highway 430 South.

The occupants told authorities that someone shot into their home and vehicle. Fortunately, the sheriff’s office reported no injuries.

Deputies identified Lester as a suspect and quickly arrested him, according to the sheriff’s office.

Investigators charged him with drive-by shooting, and he received a $50,000 bond.
