HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) – Fall has arrived, and in Houston, the season is being celebrated with horsepower and history.

The Fall Flywheel Festival is underway at Joe Brigance Memorial Park.

Visitors can browse arts and crafts and flea market booths, grab something to eat from local food trucks, and enjoy live music and activities for the whole family.

Hosted by the Chickasaw Development Foundation and the Mississippi Valley Flywheelers Association, organizers say it’s a time when the community can come together.

“It’s a time when everybody can get together and enjoy themselves with other people,” said Mary Tutor, a member of the Mississippi Valley Flywheelers Association. “Like-minded interests. Rusty iron is our favorite; we love going through rusty stuff and just enjoying that.”

The Fall Flywheel Festival continues through Saturday night.
