On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army issued two military orders to uproot olive trees and other vegetation from Palestinian lands in Jenin and Qabatia, in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) said that one order targets 178.71 dunams near the Kadim colony, along the bypass road east of Jenin, and the second targets 128.77 dunams opposite the Ganim military camp, near Haddad Tourist Village.

The orders cover 307.48 dunams belonging to the Jenin Municipality and the town of Qabatia.

Al-Jazeera reported that the orders follow similar measures issued on August 6 to uproot trees and other vegetation from more than 310 dunams of Palestinian-owned land in Arraba, Anza, and Ajjah. A separate order targeted about 3.5 dunams in Marka for what Israel called “security considerations.”

Kadim and Ganim were among four colonies evacuated in 2005. Israel later lifted restrictions on colonizers’ access and authorized their reestablishment.

Colonizers returned to Ganim on August 13, 2026, and to Kadim on August 20, amid escalating land seizures, demolitions, and movement restrictions across the Jenin governorate.
