New water brand available at local grocery

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – A new water brand is making its way into a Tupelo grocery store.

Mississippi Spirit by Statehood Waters is now available at Brooks Grocery, featuring a design created exclusively for the Magnolia State.

Mississippi Spirit is natural artesian water packaged in a reusable aluminum bottle.

The Mississippi-focused design features the state’s date of admission into the Union.

Brooks Grocery Store Director Jerry Arnette says the connection was clear: a Mississippi brand built around Mississippi pride.

“We source all kinds of new and unique items because we want it to be a treasure hunt when people come in,” said Brooks Grocery Store Director Jerry Arnette. “We really look for that so when they come in every week, there’s something different for them. Then, local. Anything local we sell. We have so many local vendors here.”

Mississippi Spirit is one of six southern state brands produced by women-owned MSPFLA Inc.
