Elvis’ historic Tupelo homecoming concert turns 70

Elvis Presley’s historic Tupelo homecoming concert is approaching a major milestone.

This September marks 70 years since Elvis returned to his hometown for the iconic 1956 performance. Now, the Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum and friends are preparing to recreate that moment on September 26 the same day and in the same place where Elvis took the stage seven decades ago.
