TUPELO – A historic Black church that has stood in Tupelo for over a century will receive critical structural repairs with the help of state and local dollars.

The Tupelo City Council voted unanimously last week to approve a $16,000 contract with Ripley-based Roberts Builders Inc. for the structural stabilization of the historic Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
