Trinidad Chambliss partners with local law firm to provide college scholarships
TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — A local law firm partnered with Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss to provide scholarships to college students across the South.
Chambliss and Mama Justice, a Tupelo-based personal injury law firm, announced the Macon a Difference Scholarship on Thursday morning.
The deal is a five-year, $225,000 commitment funded by Mama Justice in partnership with Chambliss that will put one student a year through college in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.
Each award is used at a Southeastern Conference university in the winner’s own state.
The first three $15,000 awards will be applied to the spring 2027 semester.
Macon McKinney is the scholarship’s namesake. He was the eldest son of Mama Justice founder Missy Wigginton. He struggled with alcohol and died at 25.
