Double homicide under investigation in Attala County

KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WTVA) — Authorities found two people dead inside an Attala County home.

Sheriff Curtis Pope said the discovery happened Sunday afternoon in the 2100 block of County Road 5013.

He confirmed the identities of the victims as Johnny Reeves II and Nicole Massey.

Their cause of death is under investigation.

Pope said his office is working with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
