STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) – A winning lottery ticket was sold in Oktibbeha County.

A Starkville player won $30,000 in a scratch-off ticket, which the Mississippi Lottery said was a top prize on a three-dollar “Bingo Night” jackpot ticket.

The winning ticket was bought at the Sprint Mart number 4140 near the Starkville airport. That is off Highway 12.

Mississippi Lottery officials said the winner is a longtime fan of crossword-style scratch-offs and added that it is the only type of game that they play.
