The 60-second advertisement, which features Acton's estranged mother, Donna Arthur, calling her daughter a liar over her claims of childhood sexual abuse, emerged online Monday. After the ad surfaced, Acton accused Ramaswamy of weaponizing her family's painful history to advance his political ambitions.
