TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – A holiday shopping tradition is supporting a hospice house.

Celebration Village begins on Wednesday, bringing together more than 100 local and regional vendors while raising money.

All proceeds benefit Sanctuary Hospice House to support care for patients and families.

The four-day event at the Tupelo Furniture Market, Building Five, includes shopping, entertainment and holiday finds.

“This is a huge benefit for Sanctuary Hospice and the families we serve. We’ve now taken care of just over 10,000 patients. And we want to be here to be able to take care of the next 10,000,” said Heather Palmer, director of outreach and fundraising for Sanctuary Hospice. “That’s why it’s very important for us.”

The Preview Party is Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A $50 ticket includes early shopping and dinner.

General public shopping begins Thursday and continues through Saturday.
