HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) – The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office has received a record-setting grant.The law enforcement agency has secured a grant of $1 million through the COPS program.Sheriff James Myers said the funds will go toward new equipment, such as radios, body cameras, patrol vehicle-mounted cameras, and new cruisers.“When you apply for something like this, you don’t even think about if we get $250,000,” Sheriff Myers said. “We will be very blessed.
