NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) — Another person has died following a deadly home invasion. Eric Basco died over the weekend at the Tupelo hospital, Union County Coroner Pam Boman confirmed. He allegedly broke into a County Road 176 home on Thursday morning and killed Bobby McGill, 81. McGill’s wife safely escaped.
