He also remains an executive producer of the show every day of the week.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\u201cJon Stewart is a generational talent, and The Daily Show continues to be one of the most influential franchises on television and a cornerstone of Comedy Central,\u201d said George Cheeks, co-chair and chief content officer of Skydance TV. \u201cWe are excited to continue our partnership with Jon and his award-winning news team.\u201d\n\n\t\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\tStewart most recently signed a one-year deal to continue his duties on The Daily Show through 2026. With the end of that agreement approaching, he re-upped. The two-year deal, notably, extends Stewart\u2019s run on the show through the 2028 presidential election cycle. \n\n\n\n\n\tStewart rejoined The Daily Show in 2024, anchoring the show once a week (usually on Mondays) and serving as an executive producer. He also hosts the related Weekly Show podcast. Daily Show correspondents Ronny Chieng, Josh Johnson, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta and Desi Lydic rotate hosting the Tuesday-Thursday shows; Troy Iwata and Grace Kuhlenschmidt are also correspondents.\n\n\n\n\n\tThe long-time host\u2019s return has helped The Daily Show\u2019s ratings improve. The show\u2019s third quarter audience of a little more than 1 million viewers was its largest for that quarter since 2018.\n\n\n\n\n\tJen Flanz is the showrunner for The Daily Show.
