He also remains an executive producer of the show every day of the week. “Jon Stewart is a generational talent, and The Daily Show continues to be one of the most influential franchises on television and a cornerstone of Comedy Central,” said George Cheeks, co-chair and chief content officer of Skydance TV. “We are excited to continue our partnership with Jon and his award-winning news team.” Related Stories (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jordan-klepper-midterm-elections-daily-show-special-1236732958/) (Jordan Klepper on The Daily Show) (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/c/tv/) TV (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jordan-klepper-midterm-elections-daily-show-special-1236732958/) 'The Daily Show's' Jordan Klepper Tackles Midterm Elections in Next 'Fingers the Pulse' Special (Exclusive) (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-features/south-park-looksmaxxing-sephora-clavicular-backrooms-1236730565/) ('South Patk' Seaon 29, epiode 03) (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/c/tv/) TV (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-features/south-park-looksmaxxing-sephora-clavicular-backrooms-1236730565/) 'South Park' Spoofs Clavicular, Looksmaxxing and Sephora in a Peak-Season Episode Stewart most recently signed a (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jon-stewart-new-daily-show-deal-1236416716/) one-year deal to continue his duties on The Daily Show through 2026. Stewart (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jon-stewart-daily-show-host-deal-1235806584/) rejoined The Daily Show in 2024, anchoring the show once a week (usually on Mondays) and serving as an executive producer. Daily Show correspondents Ronny Chieng, Josh Johnson, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta and Desi Lydic rotate hosting the Tuesday-Thursday shows; Troy Iwata and Grace Kuhlenschmidt are also correspondents. The long-time host’s return has helped The Daily Show’ s ratings improve. The show’s third quarter audience of a little more than 1 million viewers was its largest for that quarter since 2018. Jen Flanz is the showrunner for The Daily Show . She executive produces with Stewart and his long-time manager, James “Baby Doll” Dixon.
