The Nigeria Police Force has directed officers living in Section ‘A’ of the Alapere Police Barracks in Lagos State to vacate the premises within 30 days, following the conclusion of compensation and dues payments to pave the way for a developer to take over the site. The directive was contained in a police wireless message dated October 9, 2026, issued by the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGPOL), MOPOL, Force Headquarters, Abuja, and routed through MOPOL 2, Kefi Street, Lagos. According to the signal obtained by SaharaReporters on Thursday, the vacation notice covers the period from October 5 to November 5, 2026.
