They found Jaraquist Cunningham, 18, dead on the scene.\nBrooks\u2019 mother contacted Sheriff Eddie Hawkins to arrange her son\u2019s surrender, according to a press release from LCSO.\n\u201cCunningham was a student at West Lowndes High School,\u201d Hawkins wrote in the press release. \u201cHis death is a tragic loss.
