(WTVA) — Three people face child sex crimes in Baldwyn. Baldwyn police made the announcement on Friday afternoon and said the arrests stemmed from three separate cases. Police identified the suspects as David Ibarra, Bobby Crump and Anthony Thornton. Ibarra and Crump each face one count of molesting a child for lustful purposes. Thornton faces three counts of sexual battery and two counts of molesting a child for lustful purposes; more charges are pending, according to police. Police announced no more details about the men’s alleged crimes. Judge Chuck Hopkins set Ibarra’s bond at $50,000, Crump’s at $5,000 and Thornton’s at $1 million. Juvenile investigators Patricia Brim and Deundre Poole led the investigations, according to police. “Officer Brim and I have been working tirelessly the last few months to get all the evidence that we can in order to get these individuals off the streets. With everything from forensics to interviewing everyone. Yesterday, we felt that we had compiled enough evidence to go ahead and move forward with charging.” Ofc. Deundre Poole, Baldwyn Police.
