(WTVA) – A free barbecue sandwich is up for grabs on Saturday. West Main Church of Christ is giving away free sandwiches and drinks to give back to the community. Starting at 11 a.m., the giveaway has a drive-up service available for those who do not want to get out of their vehicles. Church members said the goal is simple: bring people together, serve their neighbors, and spread the love of Christ through service. “We just love our community. We love Tupelo,” said West Main Church member Debbie Wall. “The church here is very active and involved in a lot of outreach programs. This is just one of the ways we can give back to the community, invite people to come in and see what we are all about.” The sandwich giveaway will continue through 1 p.m. or until they run out of food.
