At Al-Bureij Camp in central Gaza, Taekwondo athletes are back on the mat after three years of genocide.

Coach Mahmoud Al-Kronz is training children amid the rubble with limited resources, keeping sport alive and giving his students a break from the weight of war. 

Before October 2023, his team was preparing to compete at the Fujairah championship in the UAE. Repeated displacement and famine brought training to a halt.
