PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) — The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary involving a stolen work truck and car batteries.

Deputies received a report early Saturday morning, October 10, about a burglary at the Prentiss County Supervisor District Shed on County Road 8311.

Investigators said a man stole vehicle batteries and other items before leaving in a white 2007 Ford F-150 crew cab belonging to the county.

The investigation remains ongoing.
