Ukraine struck by 'massive' wave of Russian drones and missiles
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has hit out at a deal between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin for Russia to supply 300,000 tons of diesel fuel to the US, warning it will fund further Russian “terror”.
“Gifts to Putin will not bring peace or any benefit to the civilised world,” the Ukrainian president wrote on social media.
US, Ukrainian, and European negotiators held six hours of talks in Miami to work towards a joint peace proposal, addressing security guarantees and post-war economic support for Ukraine.
Russian strikes have continued across Ukraine, killing seven people in Zaporizhzhia on Saturday and targeting fuel infrastructure ahead of the winter months.
An investigation revealed that a Ukrainian missile strike on Russian military headquarters in occupied Donetsk in August killed 20 Russian officers.
