SULLIGENT, Ala. (WTVA) — A dog attacked and killed a toddler in northwest Alabama. The attack happened on Friday at approximately 10 a.m. at a home on Walnut Street in Sulligent, Lamar County Coroner Allen Chandler said. Authorities pronounced the 3-year-old boy dead at the hospital. The coroner did not release the boy’s name. Sulligent Police Chief Michael Franklin said the boy’s family owned the dog.
