(WTVA) – A man is being accused of kidnapping and shooting a victim. The Corinth Police Department announced on Tuesday, Oct. 2, that 39-year-old Bacarra Lamar Hill was taken into custody. His arrest stemmed from an incident the day before, when officers discovered a person in the roadway with what appeared to be a gunshot wound in the Scott Street area. Investigators allege that Hill kidnapped the victim at gunpoint. Corinth Police report that the victim was airlifted from the Belk’s parking lot to Regional One in Memphis, Tenn. Hill is charged with kidnapping and attempted murder. He was captured around 4:30 p.m. during a traffic stop that included officers, detectives, and the Corinth-Alcorn County SWAT team.
