Explosions have been heard in Yemen's Houthi-controlled capital, Sanaa, AFP is reporting. 

Houthi-run media meanwhile reported incoming attacks in the cities of Sanaa, Taiz, Saada and Amran.

The reports come as the Yemeni foreign ministry announced that a cabinet meeting had been held to plan a fresh military offensive against the Houthis, who have seized swathes of territory since August.
