(WTVA) – A man was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter and cocaine trafficking in separate cases. District Attorney Jason D. Herring announced that 50-year-old Don C. Gilleylen entered guilty pleas in both cases on Sept. 29. The drug case stemmed from a checkpoint conducted by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, while the manslaughter charge involves the fatal shooting of Lucious Freeman in October 2021.
