TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — This weekend’s Robins Street Art Stroll is moving indoors because of expected rain.
The free event will now be held at the Huntington Bank Conference Center on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors can expect live music, food vendors and artwork from local and regional artists. Featured work will include pottery, paintings, prints, metal sculptures, custom leather pieces and more.
Local artist and former WTVA general manager Jerry Jones is participating for the third year. He said the event is also an opportunity for visitors to meet artists and learn more about their work.
“If nothing else, talk to an artist. Find out what makes us tick,” Jones said.
Organizers are reminding visitors not to head to the usual Robins Street location. This year’s event will take place entirely inside the Huntington Bank Conference Center.
