OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA) – A Chickasaw County furniture business is expanding.

A&W Custom Furniture, founded in 2023, is investing more than $2 million to buy the facility it has been leasing in Okolona and add a fourth production line.

The project also includes facility improvements and new equipment that will increase production capacity.

With a little over 70 people on staff across its current three production lines, the newest line will add 20 additional workers.

A&W manufactures upholstered furniture, specializing in sofas and sectionals.
