Detective Mary Huggins told The Dispatch.\nOfficers responded at about 8:43 p.m. Sunday to reports of shots fired at the residence. After arriving on scene, Huggins said officers found multiple rounds had been fired into a residence on Douglas Street.\nThe eight occupants, including Clay\u2019s mother, inside the home at the time of the shooting were uninjured.\nHuggins said responding officers were told by witnesses in the house that Clay was responsible for the shooting, which stemmed from ongoing arguments between Clay and his mother.\nDuring regular patrols Monday, Huggins said officers found and arrested Clay on Westbrook Street.\nClay is being held in Clay County Detention Center.
