Israeli occupation forces carried out new violations of the “ceasefire” agreement in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, including airstrikes, artillery shelling, gunfire, and the demolition of homes and residential buildings. The attacks also targeted areas sheltering displaced Palestinians amid worsening humanitarian conditions.

Local sources reported eleven Israeli ceasefire violations during the early morning hours, as military drones flew intensively at low altitude over Gaza City.

In Gaza City, Israeli artillery shelled eastern areas, while warplanes carried out airstrikes east of the city and in the eastern parts of the Tuffah neighborhood. Israeli military vehicles also opened fire northwest of the city as quadcopter drones flew over the Abu Iskandar area of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

Three displaced Palestinians were injured when an Israeli airstrike targeted a home belonging to the Karim family in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense. Israeli naval vessels also opened fire toward the city’s coastline.

In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli helicopters opened fire east of Deir al-Balah. In southern Gaza, Israeli tanks fired artillery shells into areas east of Khan Younis, while naval vessels opened fire toward the city’s coast. Israeli military vehicles also fired intensively toward areas south of Khan Younis.

In northern Gaza, Israeli forces deployed an explosive-laden robot toward the as-Sanafur Junction, east of the Gaza city’s Tuffah neighborhood, and detonated homes and residential buildings northwest of Beit Lahia. A Palestinian woman was injured by Israeli army fire near the Abu Sharkh Roundabout in Jabalia.

In its September 21 update, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that attacks on populated areas were causing casualties, property damage, and further displacement.

OCHA also warned that overcrowded shelters, limited access to safe water and sanitation, and restrictions on essential materials were increasing disease risks and constraining preparations for winter.

On Monday, five Palestinians, including a woman and a child, were killed in Israeli attacks across the besieged Gaza Strip, while Civil Defense crews recovered the body of another Palestinian killed in an earlier attack.

The attacks come amid continued violations of the “ceasefire” agreement brokered by Arab and U.S. mediators in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The agreement was announced on October 10, 2025, and took effect on October 11 as part of a plan intended to end the war on Gaza.

At the time of reporting, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza had not yet released its Tuesday update.

On Monday, the Ministry reported that Israeli forces had killed 1,394 Palestinians and injured 4,839 others since the “ceasefire” took effect on October 11, 2025. It stated that the bodies of 834 Palestinians killed in earlier attacks had been recovered from under the rubble during the same period.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed 73,914 Palestinians, including about 20,179 children and 12,500 women, and injured 174,952 others.
