COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) – A Sunday night shooting that left two injured is under investigation.

Columbus Police released a statement Monday stating that two men with gunshot wounds arrived at Baptist Memorial around 9 p.m.

One of the men had life-threatening wounds and was airlifted to another medical facility, while the other man was treated and released for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police suspect the shooting may have taken place in the 1100 block of 11th Avenue South in the south of the city.

Police said that no additional information will be released.
