This alpha runs the original AVS C/C++ rendering core in WebAssembly. It loads legacy binary .avs files directly; the bundled presets are not Webvs JSON conversions.
.avs
AVS was originally shipped with Winamp. Winamp is a licensed trademark that I do not own. This independent project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Winamp, Nullsoft, or their respective owners.
The original AVS source is available from visbot/vis_avs. This port is based on the maintained libavs fork. AVS is distributed under the BSD 3-Clause license: Copyright 2005 Nullsoft, Inc.; all rights reserved. The license also protects the names of its contributors.
AVS BSD 3-Clause license
The presets are a separate, mixed legacy collection gathered from publicly available sources. They were created by their respective authors, not by this project. The AVS BSD license above applies to the AVS source and should not be read as a blanket license for every third-party preset.
The WebAssembly binary contains WDL-EEL2 (Cockos Incorporated and contributors), nlohmann/json (Niels Lohmann), stb_image (Sean Barrett), and toolchain runtime code. Their complete notices are included with this bundle.
Third-party notices
The web UI and the Emscripten/WebAssembly compilation work for this port were created with assistance from generative AI. The original AVS source code and bundled legacy presets were created by their respective human authors and retain their existing copyright, attribution and license status.
I collected the bundled presets from publicly available legacy sources.
If you're the author of a bundled preset or AVS component and want it removed, email [email protected] and I'll take it down promptly.

Built-in AVS components and EEL run in the original engine. Native APE plug-ins, advanced editor features and media-file effects are intentionally deferred. Presets known to require unavailable APE/unknown components are omitted from the bundled collection. The Editor tab edits supported parameters and component trees using libavs' own JSON schema.
Many presets may produce rapid flashing lights that can cause seizures. If you have photosensitive epilepsy or are prone to seizures, do not start the visualizer.
This warning appears because reduced motion is enabled on your device. You can still continue if that preference is unrelated to flashing-light sensitivity.
