TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – Tupelo native Silas Caldwell is returning to his hometown for a special performance at the Elvis Presley Birthplace in October.

Caldwell was born and raised in Tupelo and now lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

He describes himself as a modern torchbearer of Mississippi music, bringing the sounds of Mississippi hill country blues to audiences through high-energy performances.

His musical career started at a young age. Caldwell began performing professionally as a child and says he performed on Broadway at just 13 years old.

Since then, his performance credits have included work with artists and entertainers such as Mason Ramsey and Druski.
