                    "JD Vance joined the All-In podcast this week and was asked by Canadian-American venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya for his closing message ahead of the midterm elections.\n\u201cIt\u2019s very complicated. But can you just give us some insight into what\u2019s actually happening on the ground and what is the message that needs to be delivered so that folks can come to the right conclusion in November?\u201d Palihapitiya asked.\n\u201cI guess I have two basic messages. There\u2019s a lot of good that we\u2019ve done over the past 18 months. We cut taxes bigly. We cut taxes on overtime, Social Security, and tips,\u201d Vance said, adding:\nThose are tax cuts for middle American workers, not just for the elites in Washington and New York City. We\u2019ve had an amazing success with the border, with immigration. We\u2019ve pursued H1B reform that prioritizes American workers over foreign nationals.\nThere\u2019s a lot of good that\u2019s been done, but there\u2019s a lot of work left to do. Don\u2019t give power to the people who cause the problems that we\u2019re fixing. Give us another chance, or give us another couple of years, to continue to work on the amazing things that we\u2019ve been doing for the past two years.\nVance\u2019s request for Americans to \u201cgive us another chance\u201d quickly went viral online as critics viewed it as a tacit acknowledgement of the administration\u2019s perceived failures.\n\u201cThe second argument I\u2019d make is, even if you don\u2019t agree with us on every issue, the other party is consumed by craziness. They\u2019re consumed by people who want to steal everything, who want to give the country over to illegal aliens and criminals. They actively brag about it,\u201d Vance continued, adding:\nI\u2019ve heard a lot of crazy stuff, guys, over the past few years in politics. But when I heard somebody running for Congress in New York say that July 4th was about the liberation of Puerto Rico and Palestine, I thought to myself, this person needs to be checked into a mental hospital, not given a seat in Congress.
