[Stringer – Anadolu Agency]             Iranian strikes caused an estimated $184 million in damage to US diplomatic facilities in four Gulf countries, according to a Pentagon inspector general’s report.  The report, published by  The Hill  , said the damage affected US facilities in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. It is the first report issued by the inspector general’s office since the United States and Israel launched the war in late February.  Iraq suffered the most damage, at more than $157 million, followed by Kuwait with more than $14 million and Saudi Arabia with about $11.5 million. Damage to the US diplomatic facility in the UAE was estimated at about $125,000. The US mission in Iraq also came under more than 600 Iranian attacks. The Pentagon estimated the cost of the war between 28 February and 29 June at about $33.4 billion, but the figure does not include the cost of repairing damaged infrastructure.  In July, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth told senators that the estimated cost of the war with Iran had reached $37.5 billion, a figure some experts said was below the actual cost.
