Heavy fighting is under way in Yemen between Houthi fighters and troops supporting the country’s internationally recognised government, with the Houthis reportedly advancing towards the strategic northern city of Marib. Saudi Arabia has carried out several air strikes on areas recently taken by the Houthis.
The fighting has forced tens of thousands of Yemenis from their homes, intensifying one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.
