(WTVA) — U.S. Marshals captured a Pennsylvania man wanted for the brutal assault of a 5-month-old child. Marshals arrested Steven Brownlee, 27, on Wednesday at a home in Tupelo. He is awaiting extradition to Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, where he faces several serious charges, including aggravated assault in connection with the assault of the infant. Court documents show Brownlee called 9-1-1 on Aug. 28 about an unresponsive child in his care. The child was taken to the local hospital for severe injuries, allegedly caused by physical abuse.
