(WTVA) – The City of Eupora is moving forward with an effort to restore a piece of its history. Leaders are applying for the Mississippi Main Street Revitalization Grant Program to acquire and restore the Flatiron building downtown. The application is being submitted on Friday. However, leaders are asking for proof from the community on why the project matters. People are asked to comment on the City of Eupora Facebook post about the building with answers on what it would mean to see the structure restored, what it could be used for, and more. The post where people can comment is linked above. Copyright 2026 WTVA. All rights reserved.
