Regional party chairman Maxim Petlin has not been seen in the capital city Yekaterinburg for “several months,” anonymous sources (https://66.ru/society/6192841-glava-sverdlovskogo-yabloka-uehal-iz-strany/) (told) told the news outlet 66.ru. It was not immediately clear when he left Russia or where he is currently located. On Monday, Sverdlovsk region police  (https://t.me/yabloko_ekb/781) arrested  at least six Yabloko members running for federal or regional office in connection with public displays of “extremist” symbols. The charges disqualify them from the upcoming elections.  Yabloko’s Sverdlovsk regional chapter (https://t.me/yabloko_ekb/789)  said  Wednesday that Petlin was in communication with one of its arrested members.
