(WTVA) — A shooting in Starkville injured a man and led to the attempted murder arrest of a teenager. The incident happened Tuesday evening at the Brookville Garden Apartments on Everglade Avenue. An argument led to gunfire, according to Starkville police. The shooting victim received treatment at the local hospital, and doctors later discharged him. Police arrested Braylen Neil, 15, of Starkville. Neil remains in the county jail as of Wednesday morning. WTVA reporter Jake Holcomb captured video footage of a large police presence at the apartment complex on Tuesday night.
