(Gray News) — O’Charley’s appears to be closing its remaining restaurants.
The restaurant chain was founded in Nashville in 1971.
O’Charley’s is still based in Tennessee and currently has locations in 12 states, primarily in the Southeast.
Those states include Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Multiple O’Charley’s restaurants in Tennessee confirmed to WSMV that they are abruptly closing Wednesday evening.
It is unclear why the locations are closing.
O’Charley’s has not made a statement about the closures. However, the company’s Facebook and Instagram pages have both been deactivated, leading customers to believe that all remaining locations are closing.
However, as of Wednesday afternoon, O’Charley’s website is still up and running.
According to Restaurant Business Online, O’Charley’s closed 51 locations in 2023, citing issues with making a comeback after the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is a developing story.
