The incident took place near Place de Clichy, police stated, adding that the three victims were taken to the hospital. French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez told reporters that all three victims were women. According to a press release, the attacker fits the profile of someone with mental health issues, as stated by a source close to the investigation. In a video shared on social media, the man, who is being restrained by several individuals during his arrest, appears somewhat disoriented as he quietly says, "Allah commanded me."
