                    "Friday night shooting leaves in 2 injured, 2 arrested\t\n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\u00a0 \u2022 1 min to read\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\t\n\n\t\n\n\t\t\n\t\tShedrick Jones, left, and Tyler Wall\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\t\tSTARKVILLE \u2013 Two Starkville teenagers were arrested Saturday for their alleged involvement in a Friday night shooting near Long Street that left two others injured.\nShedrick Jones, 19, and Tyler Walls, 18, are both charged with aggravated assault, according to a Starkville Police Department press release.\nOfficers responded at about 9 p.m. Friday to an area near Westside Drive and Long Street.\nAt the scene, officers found two injured victims, aged 17 and 18.\nBoth were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Oktibbeha County, SPD Public Information Officer Lt. Brandon Lovelady wrote in a text to The Dispatch. One of the two has since been released from medical care, the press release said, while the other was taken to Jackson for further treatment.\nJones and Walls, who were arrested following an SPD investigation, are being held in Oktibbeha County Jail.\nAnyone with information about this incident or other criminal activity is encouraged to contact SPD at (662) 323-4131, Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at (800) 530-7151 or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD website.
